Planetary Service was created to strengthen and celebrate volunteering as a meaningful way to engage with the world. Inspired by the vision of founder Rembert Biemond — “The planet has some 125 million 18-year-olds… Think 250 million hands — one year. They could move mountains, literally” — We see volunteering as a powerful form of informal learning: a way to explore the world, gain orientation, and grow through real experiences. As members of Ideenhoch3, we aim to build a global movement that recognizes volunteers, connects people, and turns shared ideals into meaningful, collective action.
