Wild Path 2: A Journey of Connection, Courage and Discovery

Wild Path 2 was an Erasmus+ youth exchange hosted by Ideen³; a journey inviting young

people to explore authentic connection, creativity and resilience through nature-based

learning. Over eleven days, participants from all over Europe experienced a diverse range of

activities designed to strengthen trust, awareness and community spirit.

Our mornings began at 10 with an energetic start; a time to wake up the body, tune in to the

group and begin the day with movement and laughter. Afterward participants gathered for a

sharing circle called Reality Check; a space to reflect, express emotions and ground

themselves in the present moment.

The first days focused on connection and co-creation; participants learned about one

another through games, collaborative cooking workshops and group-led sessions that

encouraged creativity and teamwork. On the fourth day, the group explored the

Victim–Accountable Chart, a powerful reflection tool on responsibility and choice, followed by

the start of the Learning Community, a participant-led space for sharing knowledge and

skills.

On day five, the participants took full ownership: designing workshops, shaping the

schedule, and making collective decisions that included everyone. The result was a day that

not only ran itself but also strengthened trust, leadership, and the sense of community within

the group.

Day six began as usual but took a new direction after lunch; participants set out on a

three-day outdoor challenge in seven small groups with no phones, money or necessities.

The task invited them to trust, collaborate and connect deeply with nature and each other.

Over the next two days the groups journeyed through different locations, facing challenges

and discovering strength in simplicity and teamwork. Day eight arrived with a joyful twist,

everyone reunited at a campsite by the German seaside; a warm and emotional moment of

reconnection under the open sky.

Day nine marked their return; the group was welcomed by a celebratory feast followed by an

outdoor debriefing to reflect on the experience and lessons learned. Day ten returned to a

familiar rhythm of sharing, movement and intThe experience lit a spark of empathy, creativity

and resilience that continues to grow within every participant . A living reminder of what it

means to walk the wild path together. 🌿
